About Grind & Cure

Launching soon — this profile describes what the site will cover.

Grind & Cure covers the equipment that turns a harvest into food: meat grinders, stuffers, slicers, vacuum sealers, dehydrators, smokers and the curing salts, casings and thermometers that go with them. The buying questions it answers are practical ones. Which grinder motor actually handles a deer without stalling? Does a sealer keep a seal after a winter in the chest freezer? Which curing method is safe for a beginner and which needs experience? It is written for hunters, home butchers and anyone who buys in bulk and wants to do the work themselves.

Picks follow the standards on this hub. Where I can run a piece of gear through an actual processing day, the site says so and describes what happened. Where a recommendation is built from specifications, food-safety guidance and long-term owner reports instead, that is stated on the page. Food safety is treated as a hard line: the site does not recommend shortcuts on curing or storage, whatever the commission on the product. Every link that can earn a commission is disclosed on the page that carries it.

Grind & Cure belongs to the Hunting & Shooting group of the network, next to sites like Decoy & Drake, Strut & Slate and Sounder & Scope that cover the hunt itself. It is launching soon; this profile describes what the site will cover. Like every Iron Mako Media site, it will carry an ownership line and link back to this hub so readers can see who is behind it.

Grind & Cure is owned and operated by Iron Mako Media. It follows the same editorial standards as every site in the network and carries the network-wide affiliate disclosure: like every Iron Mako Media site, Grind & Cure earns commissions on purchases made through its links, and this hub carries none.
