Pace & Pavement
A running site covering road and trail shoes, apparel, hydration and recovery tools, judged by feel over miles rather than by launch-day marketing.

About Pace & Pavement
Pace & Pavement covers what runners buy and replace most often: road shoes, trail shoes, racing and daily trainers, socks, apparel for heat and cold, hydration vests and handhelds, headlamps, and the recovery tools people use between runs. The buying questions come from the road. Which shoe holds up past a few hundred miles? Does a wide fit actually fit wide? Which vest bounces least on a fast descent? How do I choose a daily trainer versus a race-day shoe without buying both?
Picks follow the standards on this hub. Running shoes change year to year, and a shoe only proves itself over distance, so where a pair has been run in by me the page says the mileage and surface. Where a recommendation is researched, built from construction, stack and drop figures, fit consistency and runner reports, the page labels it that way. Commissions on links are disclosed on every page and never decide which shoe is recommended.
Pace & Pavement belongs to the Fitness & Training group with Bag & Bell, Rope & Rep, Open Ear Club and Ring & Rest. It overlaps with Sole & Summit on trail footwear. The site is launching soon; this profile describes planned coverage. When it launches, its footer and About page will link back to this hub.
Pace & Pavement is owned and operated by Iron Mako Media. It follows the same editorial standards as every site in the network and carries the network-wide affiliate disclosure: like every Iron Mako Media site, Pace & Pavement earns commissions on purchases made through its links, and this hub carries none.
